IU Health Onboarding Program
This is an example of user experience writing I did at IU Health. The organization had been experiencing high turnover. Research from interviews with newer employees showed:
New hires felt disconnected from their team and the organization
Leaders were using individualized onboarding processes that did not cover all of the needs for a new hire
The Onboarding team compiled a list of tasks that would help new hires become familiar with the organization and their roles. We took each task and broke it down into a tool that would be included in a Manager’s Toolkit. As the instructional designer, I took the list and created a layout for the manager guide as well as the individual tools.
